My approach.

A place to think clearly, and a partner who will ask the questions you've been putting off.

Meaningful professional growth starts with curiosity.

I don't hand out prescribed solutions. The answers that hold up are the ones you reach yourself, so my job is to help you see your situation more clearly: the perspectives, habits, and assumptions that shape how you lead, decide, and understand yourself.

Together we look at what's working, name what's getting in the way, and work out what to try next. That might mean putting a strength to better use, getting clear on your values, finding your footing in uncertainty, or approaching a familiar problem in a new way.

Transformation rarely means reinventing yourself. More often it's a shift in perspective, a better understanding of a strength you already have, or the confidence to make a decision that has been waiting to be made.

What guides the work.

Start with strengths

We begin with what you already do well. CliftonStrengths gives us a shared language for it, and a way to spot when a strength is being overused.

Question the assumptions

Most stuck points rest on an assumption no one has examined. For over-functioners it's often some version of “if I don't do it, it won't get done.” We find it and test it.

Move with intention

Insight is only useful if it changes what you do next week. Each session ends with something concrete to carry forward.

Effort without strain

Yoga describes a good posture as steady and at ease at the same time. Most over-functioners have the steadiness without the ease. We work on both.

How an engagement unfolds.

One

Introductory call

A free 30-minute conversation to see whether we're a good fit.

Two

Getting oriented

We set goals together. Most clients also complete the CliftonStrengths assessment.

Three

Regular sessions

Focused conversations on the situations in front of you, with practical steps between sessions.

Four

Looking back

We review what has changed, what to keep doing, and what comes next.

What we discuss is confidential. Coaching is a partnership focused on your professional goals. It is not medical care, therapy, or a substitute for either.
